Webinar: What’s the point of a virtual experience alongside your website

An extract from a wider webinar delivered by The Education Marketer, Kyle Campbell, this video sees Matt Usher from Bournemouth University explain how Vepple helps universities modernise their digital platforms with a community-led approach. By moving beyond traditional Higher Education systems, Vepple offers a personalised virtual experience that can adapt and innovate more quickly. Drawing on direct feedback from users, Vepple continues to evolve its functionality to better support student recruitment and engagement. Institutions benefit from a flexible, forward-thinking platform designed to connect with prospective students and deliver meaningful results.
We’ve got a website that needs to be moved in terms of platform and functionality and I’m sure other institutions are in the same boat. I think the beauty of having a virtual experience but perhaps managed by an organisation outside of the Higher Education space is that it can innovate much more quickly. Vepple’s much more community-led – I saw that in the first session they held in the autumn where they’re directly talking to users to actually build and evolve functionality on the platform.
