University of Huddersfield – making confident investments

Marketing Manager, Josie Henry at the University of Huddersfield explains why Vepple was a no-brainer and what led them to invest confidently in the platform. Like every university, Huddersfield are careful with their budgets and spending and so they really did their research to find the right platform that would offer interactive exploration that suits prospective students in a modern, innovative, digitally focused, accessible way.
We were first drawn to Vepple because it offered something that no other platform did which was being that interactive exploration tool that was fully geared up for prospective students. Our university are working on a rebrand project at the moment and we needed to find a way that we could bring the university voice to life and represent ourselves as modern, innovative, digitally focused, accessible and really showcase everything it has to offer in a personalised and friendly way. Like any higher education institution, we’re very careful with our budgets and our spending. We want to make sure that every pound is spent wisely and with impact. So we really did our research and wanted to kind of see some use cases and make sure that we were confident that investing in Vepple was the right way to bring the most impact with what we were doing and fit with our activity plan. We’re really excited to enhance our online experience because it’s something we’ve been wanting to do for a long time. We’re also really keen to get going with our kickstart day and welcoming the Vepple team to campus. They seem like a great bunch of people to work with, and apparently they bring biscuits.
