The platform is actively maintained and constantly improved using research, data, and feedback from both universities and students. So yes, you could make your own, but it might not have everything a Vepple experience has. 

We pride ourselves on a very user-friendly CMS. We mostly work with marketing teams who have limited prior CMS experience, and customers often say how enjoyable it is to work on Vepple.

There’s definitely no need for developer level skills. Your onboarding and customer success manager will also make sure you’ve got all you need to make updates quickly and easily. We also have a 24/7 knowledgebase and ticketed support systems in place, so you’re never alone.

We’ve had customers go live in as little as two weeks.

In fact the average time to go live with KickStart, our Vepple Bolt-on which expedites the onboarding process, is only 21 days. With KickStart, Vepple experts will come in and help you prioritise, taking on some of the load with you. But even without our help, you’ll find setting up Vepple is a lot easier than you think.

When it comes to managing, we’ve built our CMS with efficiency in mind, so you often only have to edit an area once and it’ll update in multiple places.

Managing Vepple is simple and requires no specialist training. Universities that dedicate a team, or even a few passionate individuals alongside their other responsibilities, see the biggest impact and get the most value from the platform.

We integrate with Unibuddy, The Ambassador Platform and many more for peer-to-peer chat and we also have an integration with IDP Education across their WhatUni profiles. These all come with Vepple Core at no extra cost. For customers who have our Lead Capture module, you can also integrate with CRMs via our API or Zapier connector.

Yes, our dashboards give you insight into a complete performance overview. You can see user engagement, sessions, country information, sources and more. We’ve also built in competitor benchmarking so you can compare performance with like-for-like institutions. If you buy the module Lead Capture we can also integrate with CRMs to help you track the ROI of Vepple and better understand the typical student journey.

No. We want Vepple to look like its yours. Some universities will have a domain that is virtual.university.ac.uk others choose explore.university.ac.uk and others have tour.university.ac.uk – it’s totally up to you and we’ll support you to create the experience you want.

That’s fantastic! For 360 panoramas to upload properly in Vepple, they should be in an equirectangular format, jpg, with a 2:1 aspect ratio and a minimum resolution of 6000px x 3000px. If the quality of what you have isn’t entirely up to scratch, we have services to capture new ones or we can try to enhance your existing ones.

No. Our Lead Capture module is separate, so if you want Vepple as part of your lead gen strategy, you’ll need that extra module.
